Description
The dark face bug is everywhere and it's a big problem when you are creating new npcs in a mod specifically made for the PS4. This short tutorial is meant to help about that.- Once inside there should be a dark elf. The animation of watching a rib-cage or animal skull flying into the face of your follower or random enemy is. If you ever get married in Skyrim.
- I've noticed recently on skyrim, that the faces of every single character in the game has a really dark grey face. I'm not too sure if it was just that one time I loaded the game. I'll try it later.but I can't really remember when it started.it might have just been today. Anyone else encountered this problem?
- Bugs Upon pressing the button in the center of the room, the initial bit of purple fire will appear, but the quest arrow above the button will not disappear. The columns will move and there will still be vibration and whatnot when it's in the right place, but the purple fire will not respond.
NPC creation:
- create an entirely new npc from scratch, DO NOT DUPLICATE AN EXISTING NPC, Black squad offline.
A speed project I created in less than 30 minutes. I will be creating models with dark elf human nord breton imperial high elf wood elf orc and redguard. Also any suggestions or requests for custom faces welcome. Download skin now!

- in the actor form, in 'Template Data', in 'ActorBase' choose the model your npc will use and select 'Use Traits' (leave the other data alone unless you know what you are doing). Do not edit the base actor you have chosen.
Once you have picked up a base actor for your npc, all the data on the 'Traits' tab of your npc form will be greyed out so that you cannot modify them. Modifying them would create the dark face bug you are trying to avoid. Omniweb 4.2 beta 2 phoenix for mac. Consequently, you'll have to be careful about your choice, especially if your npc must use some vanilla dialogue because you won't be able to modify its voice type.
In the example below, I'm using 'EncBandit04MissileNordF' as a base object for Griselda. In the preview window on the right, you can see that the face looks normal but the body doesn't look normal at all. Do not panic, this is of no importance at all,
- in the Render View window, your character will show a similar problem at the neck; here too, do not panic, this is of no importance.

What is important is the result in game. Here is what Griselda looks like in game, no dark face bug, no weird neck!
What existing npcs should I use?
Any npc with one exception: do not use the presets, they will have the dark face bug. Xforce keygen corel draw 2017.
Note:
Once you have finished, delete the 'Actor' folders that the CK created in Data/Meshes and Data/Textures. They contain unneeded face gen data.
Here you go, you are all set now!
Report this tutorialThis is a Skyrim bug unfortunately. There is only a temporary fix (nothing permanent exists, yet).
Skyrim Player Dark Face Bug
It happens when you perform a race change on a NPC. You can usually export facegen data for a NPC and package it with your mod, but I cannot export facegen for all the NPCs in Skyrim (you can turn almost anyone).
- Enter the console with ~
Skyrim Dark Face Bug Creation Kit
- type: setnpcweight 50 (any value from 1-100 will do)
This will reload the 3D model and help them match again (or a lot closer anyway).
UPDATE: I have scripted an automatic (temporary) fix in versions 6.8 and above. When you enter a cell it will attempt to refresh the 3D model of those NPCs you have turned. It is also scripted to occur every hour in game as you walk around. This should help alleviate the 'grey face bug', but you might see it disappear after a few seconds or after you wait. I have noticed that some NPCs cannot be fixed no matter what we do. Console commands and scripts refreshing the face are ineffectual for some models - perhaps they have unique textures beyond what average NPCs have.
